Giving businesses a boost and customers confidence

Even though times are hard for business Rod Cook is encouraged by feedback he has received from businesses and customers which advertised in the first Christian Business Directory for Ipswich and the surrounding area.

 

Rachel (pictured) and Gary Summers, of Greenfinch Church, Ipswich, needed an electrician to carry out some work at their home. They turned to the Christian Business Directory, having picked up a copy at their church, and found ‘Leading Light Electrical Services’. Rachel recently contacted Rod to say that they had been really pleased with the price and the service they had received.

 

Gordon Mower, mobile mechanic, carries out servicing, MOTs, general repairs at the customer’s home or workplace. Although the Directory was only published and circulated to churches four months ago, Gordon has already gained two customers and says he is confident that there will be more.

 

Rod said “the Directory is intended to give businesses a boost and customers confidence, and it’s really encouraging to hear in the first few months that it is achieving its objectives”

 

The Directory contains a range of services including accountants, care homes, chiropractor, driving instruction, graphic design, promotional clothing, conveyancing solicitor, waters softener experts and public address and sound systems. All those advertising are Christians and have their application signed by a Church leader.

 

The Christian Business Directory is published annually in booklet form in July. It is also available on the web, as an ‘Online Directory’ for those who prefer to check out their PC for information. Although the booklet is annual, businesses can be added to the web directory at any time.
