Practical work at Talitha Koum

In support of the building work, Talitha Koum is clearing and planting the grounds of the new site during October and November, and is looking for volunteers to help.

“Oaks of Righteousness planted by God to display his glory.”
The Message. Isaiah 61:3

TK's CEO, John Cobbold, said “We need to landscape the site and you can help with the work and the costs. There is an opportunity as well for individuals, organisations or churches to donate trees and shrubs, in memory of a loved one or a significant event. If you can’t do physical work, come along, help make the tea and soup for those working.”

“We would like this to be a great occasion which involves everyone, and it is open to all - there is no charge for anything. Please do not forget to register, because only those who have registered will be allowed to take part, we need to know all those coming in order to plan the day and cover it on our insurance policy.”
Grgardenersound Preparation Month – October 2011
