Christian Business Directory now on the web

Following the publication and distribution of The Christian Business Directory for Ipswich and surrounding area last month, the Directory website www.thechristianbusinessdirectory.co.uk  has now been updated to include the businesses advertising in the Ipswich Directory. 

 

Rachel Dawson, the national coordinator of the Christian Business Directory, said “the great strength of The Christian Business Directory is that it is published annually in booklet form and distributed at local churches. We have found that many people like to keep their copy of The Christian Business Directory near their telephone. However we recognise the importance of advertising on the web too – some users prefer this and so we are catering for both sets of customers”.

 

Copies of the Directory were recently distributed to over 100 churches in the area and Rachel will be contacting each church offering to link their church website to the Christian Business Directory “Church Links” page.

 

She will also be asking churches to insert a link to The Christian Business Directory on their own websites.

 

Rachel said “I feel that in these times of recession and uncertainty, churches should be encouraging and helping business people who attend their churches. The Christian Business Directory is one way of helping them.” 

 

She added “The Directory is also a way of promoting and providing financial support to Christian charities. As churches distribute the Directories they will be helping Talitha Koum and Ipswich Christian Youth Ministries.”

 

The Christian Business Directory is provided free to churches, so that they can make free copies available to members of their congregation and visitors to church events. If you have not seen copies at your Church ask your church leader.
