Tower Hall Youth Club re-launch
September 2010, saw the launch of a new Youth Club for 11 -14 year olds, run by Rushmere Christian Fellowship volunteers.
The Youth Club, held at Tower Hall Community Centre, provides a place for the young people living in the area to go along to. There’s a wide range of activities including Nintendo Wii, pool, table football, table tennis and crafts as well as a café area. There’s also plenty of space to chat about anything and everything; life, faith, music or football.
Phil Brown, Part-time Youth Worker at Rushmere Christian Fellowship writes,
“Wow! After just one term of Tower Hall Youth Club we’ve seen a ton of stuff happening! A talent night, ‘Youth Club Olympics’, outdoor and indoor games, a quiz, a trip ice skating and our Christmas special – and much more besides.
This term, we’re re-launching on Sunday 9th January with our New Year’s party. We’ll be celebrating with half price entry if you bring a friend and running at our new time of 7-8:30 pm, with the option to stay ‘til 9 pm for those who want to.”
