Charity Santa will be in Ipswich again this year

National Christmas card fund-raisers, Cards for Good Causes, are looking for additional volunteers for their charity Christmas card shop, which will be trading again this year from Ipswich Tourist Information Centre, St Stephens Church, St Stephens Lane opposite the Buttermarket Centre, Ipswich.

Jean Potter, Ipswich Shop Manager for Cards for Good Causes, said “We are very pleased to be running our card shop in Ipswich again this year. We are looking for people to help out in the shop - there’s always a great atmosphere and volunteers enjoy helping. We really rely on our volunteers – last year they helped Cards for Good Causes raise over £4 million for more than 300 charities across the country.”

The shop in Ipswich Tourist Information Centre will be open from 11 October until 21 December and will have a good choice of cards from over 40 different charities such as British Heart Foundation, East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices , Marie Curie, NSPCC, Cancer Research UK, East Anglian Air Ambulance and RNLI.

If you can spare a few hours to help in the shop or if you would like more information please contact Jean Potter on 01473 723409.
